I 've found varying sources for 'shoelace'  Is there a geographical divide between 'el cordon' and 'la cordonera' ?

Hi Nitram,
as far as I know, the word cordonera is used in spain (in the sense shoelace). In america the meaning is another one.. is more for a company, person or machine that making them.
